Stayed here one night. Small quiet rooms with free cable. The staff was friendly and helpful. PET FRIENDLY and cheap.

I recently got up the courage to leave a series of really bad situations. I was finally free, but I was lost and alone. I found myself homeless as a single mother with two autistic children and a cat. We needed a place to go in a hurry, one that could accommodate our unique circumstances. After some phone calls, we tried our luck at the Rivera Motel. To my surprise the staff were very warm, friendly, and helpful. We met some interesting people, and there was always kids running around outside playing and having fun. It was sort of like camping, cause we stayed there Aug Sept and most of Oct. That being said... It's def not a place for everybody, but it was just what we needed at the time. There are good and bad people any where you live. Be one of the good guys! Anyway, just saying

I really love this place. My room is big and bed comfy. Nice TV with cable and a great air conditioner make this room one of the best in the area. It's quiet and the owners are very nice. I have no problems here. I highly recommend

Decent living. Cheap rates considering other places in the area. Not looking to make it a permanent stay but not awful for a temporary one. Yes, the cops come here often. Yes, people live here and probably do drugs. Just keep your door locked and your nose clean. You'll be fine.

Run down but for a short month stay on efficiancy it's worth it

You've got your choice of dodging strange people knocking on your door at all hours of the night, playing "guess the stain" on the bed sheets, or trying to figure out what that mysterious smell is (hint: it's probably not the complimentary air freshener). And let's not forget about the coffee situation. There's no coffee to be found at the Riviera, but don't worry, you won't need it to stay awake. The constant sounds of , shouting, and the occasional gunshot will keep you wide-eyed and bushy-tailed all night long. Now, I know what you're thinking: "This sounds like a terrible place to stay!" But hear me out. The Riviera Motel has a rich history that's just as crazy as the current state of affairs. Did you know that back in the day, the Riviera was a notorious spot for all sorts of illicit activities? According to local legend, the motel was a hub for prostitution, drug deals, and even the occasional murder (Source: "Rochester's Dark Past: The Riviera Motel's Sinister History" - Rochester Gazette, 2018). So, if you're looking for a truly unique and unforgettable experience, look no further than the Riviera Motel in Rochester, New Hampshire. It's the perfect place to stay if you're into crispy critters, mysterious stains, and the thrill of potentially being involved in a crime scene. Just don't expect any coffee, and maybe bring your own bed sheets. Trust me, you won't regret it (or maybe you will, but that's all part of the fun)

For the Price its a great place to stay. Cheap. Gets loud at nite but again you get what u pay for $400 bucks a week. 85 to 100 bucks per nite depending on if u stay on a weekend or during the week..

Older motel, fantastic location, super clean, good rates. Owners are super friendly, as are housekeeping. Parks on either side, beach is right out front. I could see the bridge out one window, and Mackinac Island out the other. I will be back!
